Presented by:
Melissa A. Drake and Kathy D. Williams, Co-Owners of American Funeral Consultants
Regardless of the size of your funeral home, a well-executed succession plan can be invaluable in making the transition of your funeral business a more positive and effective experience. Whether your goal is to set up a trust for your estate, prepare and protect against an owner’s unexpected disability or death, arrange for the incremental transference of stock to a family member or employee, or transfer 100% ownership of the business to a buyer, this one-hour webinar is for you.
The presenters will help you understand the process of valuing your business as well as provide you with tips for achieving a satisfactory purchase price in the form of cash, a Seller’s Note, retirement income, or other methods of compensation. They will also provide pointers on putting together a team of advisors who can work together to tackle potential tax consequences, local, state, and federal legal issues and any other issues that may arise throughout the process.
